Early details have emerged at Comic Con on Star Wars: Episode III Revenge
of the Sith which stars Ewan McGreggor and Hayden Christensen. This new
two-disc set will be available to own from the 8th November this year, and
should retail at around $27.95. The film itself will be presented in
anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track.
Extras will include an audio commentary, a brand new long-form documentary,
numerous new mini documentaries that take you behind the scenes of Episode
III, and deleted scenes. One of these scenes chronicles the birth of the
Rebel Alliance. It takes place in Senator Bail Organa's office, and we meet
Senator Mon Mothma, who, as we see in Return of the Jedi, is the leader of
the Rebel Alliance. We've attached a couple of screen shots from this brand
new scene below. Stay tuned for further details, as we're expecting an
official announcement very shortly

OTC
POST ROTS DETAILS!
Forum member JediJman, who previously sent in the tip about new Lego sets and
some clone packs, sends in some more information.
Okay, here's another scoop on new products coming out! I saw a few new
packages today:
The basic line OTC packaged figures! These look like a combination of the
old OTC line and the new ROTS packaging. Rectangular cards with the OTC
graphics, but the base is rounded off similar to the ROTS figures. Bubbles
are rectangangular (yay!) whichis better for stacking IMO.
The bad news: There are 6 figures pictured on the back - all rehashes.
They had chewie in chains, boussh, Han Carbonite (looks like the one from the
cardboard jabba's palace set), Bib Fortuna, Barada and I think one more guy -
I'll check again later. They all looked like previously released versions,
but...
The good news: there is an indicator that each of them comes with a free
mini-holographic figure! There's an oval opening about 1.5 inches big, but no
actual toys in these, so I'm not sure what exactly will be included.
Hopefully its a different one for each figure.
The other new packaging they had...I can hardly believe this myself, but
its a foot long pegable package with a clear window and no toy inside. On the
top it has the STAR WARS logo, and on the bottom it says...are you ready for
this? TRANSFORMERS. That's right, Star Wars Transformers! The back is plain
cardboard, so I have no idea what this is going to be, but I'l allready
stoked.
For fans of Transformers, they had all the new Heroes of Cybertron stuff,
and new packaging for the Alternators line. The two sample alternators
present were a Prowl car and Skids the Van. I'll try to get some more details
this afternoon...
FYI: There have been some unconfirmed reports of the Early Bird sets starting
to hit clearance in central Texas Wal-Mart(s). The sale price is supposed to
be somewhere between $10 to $12. You might want check the price on these
next time you are in your local Wal-Mart. Be sure to let

Two of the most famous props in US film history -- light sabers belonging
to Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader of "Star Wars" fame -- will go under the
hammer in late July auction, organizers said. ADVERTISEMENT Dozens of objects
from George Lucas' celebrated sci-fi saga will go the highest bidders at the
July 29 auction in Beverly Hills organized by Profiles in History, which
specializes in the sale of film props.
The year's No. 1 movie so far, Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith,
is expected to arrive in stores Nov. 8. That was the same week that top
sellers Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo came out in previous years.

Well by now you have either seen or heard that the ROTS #50 Anakin Skywalker
figure has its share of variants (or paint errors for some). So the crew at
Yodasnews.com set out to see what we could find, and in one day we found
several!
You have Clean, Clean with "blue ink tattoo", Charred or burnt (coined
"crispy Ani"), Slight burn or Mild Burn, and so forth. With the paint
applications being done my machines, the variants on this one could be
endless!
We snapped a few pictures of the top 3 we have seen to help answer some of
the questions that have been coming in, but in a simple answer, we don't know
how many "variants" are out there, but below are the top 3 that we have seen!
